Is the price really exact?
Yes. Answer a few questions about your car and the price you see is the price you pay — no deposit, no obligation, and you can book the time right there. Paint correction and ceramic coating are the exceptions: those start with a free look-over, because the price depends on paint we haven't seen yet.
Do I need to be home while you work?
No. As long as we can access your vehicle, you don't need to be there. Most customers go about their day while we work. We'll text you when we're done so you can come inspect the car.
Do you need my water or electricity?
Never. We carry a 140-gallon water tank and run entirely on our own power station. No generator noise, no fumes, nothing borrowed from you. All we need is access to your car in a safe position.
How do you determine pricing?
Most first-time details land in the $200 to $300 range, and maintenance visits start at $100. Beyond that, we price based on your specific car. The condition, the material, the size, the type of dirt, your goals and your budget all factor in. A compact that's been garaged for three years is a completely different job than a full-size SUV used for dog runs and road trips. We quote after reviewing your photos and we never change the number when we show up to do the service.
How long does the service take?
It depends on the vehicle and the service. A basic exterior detail can take 2 to 3 hours. A full interior and exterior detail on a neglected vehicle can take a full day. We'll give you a time estimate before we start so you can plan accordingly.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry full liability insurance up to one million dollars per occurrence on every single job. Ask us for proof of insurance before you book and we'll send it immediately. Most mobile detailers in San Diego cannot do that.
How soon can you come out?
Whatever's open on the calendar, including same week when there's room. You see every available slot when you get your price and you pick the one you want — we come to your home or office on that day.
Where do you service?
All of San Diego County. La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Mission Valley, Santee, Chula Vista, National City, Lemon Grove, and everywhere in between. If you're in San Diego County, we come to you.
What if I'm not satisfied with the result?
We don't pack up and leave until you've inspected the car and you're satisfied. That's not a policy. It's just how we operate. In seven years we've never had to come back for a redo because we get it right the first time and we don't leave until the customer says so.
